Orienteering Red deer
Join us for the COMMUNITY events!
Pathfinders: Every-Kid Can Play Initiative
This year our Red Deer programs are focusing delivering free school programs to reach more than a thousand students in Red Deer. Starting this spring at Oriole Park, MountView and Barrie Wilson Schools. We are also supporting free complimentary programs for the families funded by Every Kid Can Play (EKCP) Program which is designed to address affordability and accessibility challenges to sport, physical activity, and recreation (SPAR) programs for Alberta kids and their families. We would like to thank the Government of Alberta's support to the non-profit sport sector to help deliver affordable access to sport and recreation opportunities. Please sign up so we can send you an email for the upcoming events with the exact meeting location!
TRY ORIENTEERING COMMUNITY EVENTS - How to join?
We are also grateful for the ParticipAction Community Challenge
and the City of Red Deer grants to support us to organize free orienteering events. |
Why should you try it?
Orienteering is a recreational sport that involves navigating using a map. It's a wonderful way to explore the Red Deer parks and challenge your mind. Whether you're an experienced outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a new way to make your walks more exciting, orienteering is suitable for all skill levels.
