Events:

The second annual Alberta Compass Series will be revised after we establish a new events schedule for the summer  and fall.

Goal:
To provide a framework for hosting provincial orienteering events that encourage athletes’ attendance outside of their local club.

Objectives:
  •  Aims to encourage provincial event participation regardless of location and skill levels and create a fun, social experience for all.
  • To attempt to avoid conflict of dates for provincial events with other similar competitive events in the province and elsewhere.
  • To provide more opportunities for progressing Officials’ Certification through mentorship.
  • To recognize athletes’ accomplishments with an annual award, based on the aggregate points from the Compass Series.
  •
Join us to create a friendly and fun competitive environment for the Orienteering Community in Alberta!
