Alberta Orienteering Association


AOA membership can be purchased through the local clubs. When you sign up as a club member you automatically become an AOA member.

 FWOC - Foothills Wanderers Orienteering Club
AOA Program Membership - T
his is a limited membership type which allows events / programs participation for individuals who do not have access to a local club. It does not have voting privileges or club affiliation. If you are enrolling in any type of club activities and events you must purchase a club membership. When you sign up as a club member (with FWOC or EOOC in Alberta) you will automatically become an AOA member.

 Membership is valid January 1 thru December 31

CLUB Membership has its privileges …
Signing up for a full membership in the Alberta Orienteering Club of your choice  will automatically give you the following benefits:
  • Membership with AOA and  Orienteering Canada 
  • Subscriptions to newsletters including the AOA’s  and Orieneteering Canada's
  • Member rates at local, provincial and national orienteering events
  • Eligibility and insurance to participate at any level in provincial or national orienteering events
  • Access to maps and orienteering resources at member prices
  • Opportunities to participate, at special members rates, in training camps and clinics
  • Eligibility for grants and subsidies to assist with fees and travel costs to events or clinics
  • Supported accommodation, food, and o-events at an AOA retreat and camps.
